The Wine
Nestled amongst olive groves and lavender fields, Château Constantin was the perfect spot for the Bagnis family to follow their dream of making wine. This pale pink beauty is quintessentially Provençal... All delicate redcurrants and strawberries with a dash of mouthwatering acidity. Pair with seafood and sunset.
The Design
The Provence countryside has inspired artists for centuries. Van Gogh, Matisse and Picasso all lived in the region, capturing its “painter's light” in broad, pastel-hued strokes.
The design of your Luberon Rosé is based on a discarded paint palette, whose owner was painting the lavender fields at dusk. It’s a nod to the rich history of painting in Provence and a celebration of creativity.
The Winemakers
Mother and daughter team Anne-Marie and Camille Bagnis arrived from Marseille in 2017, armed with freshly minted oenology and vineyard management degrees. They aren’t from a winemaking dynasty, but they rolled up their sleeves and set to work restoring the eighteenth century château - and nurturing the vines back to health. Their wines are usually sold at the cellar door or in local fancy restaurants. But we convinced them to set aside a parcel of their delicious Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre for Laylo customers.

It’s up to you. You don’t need to pour into a glass, so cans are perfect for enjoying wine on the go. But if you do have a nice glass to hand, you’ll get a bit more on the nose (a fancy way of saying, you’ll be able to smell more of the nice fruit and florals). No judgement from us either way!
We’re here to show that putting wine in a can doesn’t have to mean a compromise on quality. Cans actually protect wine from light and oxygen, meaning the liquid inside can stay fresh for around 12 months. And as always, we work with a team of experts to make sure every glass of Laylo is super fresh.
Yes! All our wines are chosen by a Master of Wine and the wine in our cans is no exception. The liquid in our cans is exactly the same as our boxes, so you can be reassured that you’re sipping on a quality wine, whatever the format.
One of the great things about aluminium is that it’s endlessly recyclable so pop any empty cans straight in your home recycling bin. A study by Finnish company Alko showed that canned wine production generates 70% less carbon than glass bottles (per litre of wine), making it a sustainable choice.
