This wine is the quintessential big red, with all the intense heat of the Puglian sun - the Latin inscription on the box translates to “I have come to bring fire on Earth”. Look for aromas of wild strawberries, followed by figs, baked blackberries and elegant tannins.

X1 Lot 14 Merlot
This wine combines the elegant cherry and coffee flavours of a classic French Merlot, with joy-filled raspberries and blueberries. Pair with fancy pizza and a classic movie.

X1 Lot 10 Malbec
This is a silky smooth Malbec packed with mulberry, blueberry and fresh plum. Wine aficionados might assume the hints of cocoa and violet mean it’s an Argentinian drop... Hats off to anybody who correctly identifies it as Spanish!
